1. Task Description and Requirement
This task is composed of four (4) questions requiring personal information from the examinee. The first two questions are standard for all the test sets.
The first question asks about the examinee's name and birth date.
The second question asks the examinee about himself / herself.
The third and fourth questions ask the examinee about the things in his/her workplace.
2. Task Goal
The goal of this task is to test the examinee's ability to promptly respond to simple and familiar requests for information. This task primarily measures the examinee's understanding of what is required by providing appropriate answers (Comprehension) and the ability to deliver a response quickly and smoothly (Fluency)
1. Task Description and Requirement

This task contains three (3) different types of cabin announcements. Each announcement occurs during one of the different activities of a cabin crew's in-flight service namely: providing flight information, welcome announcement, safety measures demonstration, take-off, seatbelt sign-off, cabin service, duty free sales, movie, documentation, approach, landing, transit information, farewell message and deplaning. The examinee is required to enunciate these announcements clearly and loudly.

2. Task Goal
This part of the test should measure the examinee's ability to speak with clarity, with correct stress-placement, rhythm, intonation and sound production (Pronunciation) and his ability to read the announcement at a desirable volume, without unnecessary pauses, fillers, and without stammering and hesitation (Fluency).
1. Task Description and Requirement

This task presents the examinee with six (6) words and phrases which are common cabin crew terminology.

The examinee is required to state the meaning of each word or phrase according to its usage in the airline industry and to use it in a sentence based on his / her given definition.

2. Task Goal

This task primarily measures the examinee's vocabulary range and accuracy in being able to provide synonyms or a definition which conveys the meaning of the word as it is used in the airline industry (Vocabulary).

This task also measures the examinee's ability to use the correct grammatical structure in providing a sentence which would capture and illustrate the meaning of the word or phrase as it is used within the airline context (Structure).

1. Task Description and Requirement

This task presents a conversation of at least three (3) exchanges between two cabin crew members, a cabin crew member and a passenger, OR a cabin crew member and a pilot.
The conversation will occur during one of the work activities which a cabin crew performs. The conversation depicts a situation containing a problem and a solution. The examinee is required to listen carefully to the recorded conversation and then to describe the situation in his or her own words. The description of the situation must include a mention of the particular problem which had arisen and an explanation of how it was resolved

2. Task Goal

This task measures the examinee's ability to describe and relate a situation based on the details in a conversation.
This task primarily measures his understanding of the given conversation (Comprehension), his ability to provide details and information to complete his description (Interaction), and the ability to paraphrase in order to provide a clear description of the situation (Vocabulary).

1. Task Description and Requirement

This task presents the examinee with three (3) situations which occur during the performance of his duties. Each situation occurs during one of the different phases of a cabin crew member's work, namely: Pre-flight, Pre-passengers boarding, Passengers boarding, Pre-departure, In-flight, Before landing, Deplaning/Disembarking, Hand-over of responsibility to another crew and Post-flight briefing. The examinee is required to resolve the situation according to the procedures being outlined for each situation.

2. Task Goal

This task should examine the examinee's ability to understand the situation by addressing what is required based on the given procedures (Comprehension). It should also measure his ability to deliver an immediate, informative, and appropriate response based on the given procedures (Interaction). It should also measure the ability of the examinee to use the appropriate words to deliver his message effectively to the receiver (Vocabulary)

1. Task Description and Requirement

This task presents the examinee with a situation which would require him/her to respond to inquiries from a passenger. The examinee, being the cabin crew member concerned, should respond to these five (5) job-related questions or conditions. There is no time allotted to think about the response, so the examinee should answer immediately after each inquiry is delivered. This task is for active cabin crews only.

2. Task Goal

This task measures the examinee's ability to provide immediate, appropriate, and informative responses to the inquiries in order to maintain an effective conversation (Interaction). It should also test his ability to figure out what is being asked in each inquiry in order to be able to address it (Comprehension). His ability to use the exact or the best-fitting words in his response in order provide a logical answer to each inquiry (Vocabulary) should also be assessed here. It is also important to measure the examinee's ability to respond to the inquiries with an even flow of speech, without hesitation or pauses, in order to keep the conversation going (Fluency).

This task presents the examinee with a familiar, safety-related situation which requires the examinee to perform one specific, mandated cabin procedure.
This task will not require the examinee to choose and relate the series of actions he/she would take to resolve the situation. Instead, the examinee will be asked to describe and state the mandated procedure for the particular situation. This task is for active cabin crews only.

2. Task Goal

This task assesses the examinee's ability in all criteria, namely Comprehension (understanding the situation by addressing what is required), Interaction (presenting an informative and detailed answer by providing a description of the applicable procedure), Vocabulary (using the appropriate terminology to make the description as accurate as possible), Structure (employing logical sentence pattern and word order to present a step-by-step procedure) Pronunciation (pronouncing words clearly and correctly), and Fluency (describing the procedures in an effortless or fluent manner).

This task presents the examinee with an unusual or abnormal situation which occurs during the performance of his / her duties. This situation requires immediate action and the examinee is required to describe and explain the steps he/she would take to resolve the situation according to the standard airline cabin policies and procedures. This task is for active cabin crews only.

2. Task Goal

This task assesses the examinee's ability in all criteria, namely Comprehension (understanding the situation by addressing what is required), Interaction (presenting an immediate, informative, and detailed answer by providing a specific course of action), Vocabulary (using the appropriate words and/or phrases to express his idea or ideas suitable to what is required), Structure (employing correct sentence pattern and word order to present a logical course of action), Pronunciation (pronouncing words clearly and correctly), and Fluency (stating the action/s in an effortless or fluent manner).

Same as task 6, this task presents the examinee with an unusual or abnormal situation which occurs during the performance of his / her duties.
